Thanks for the trainer, but i have to agree that GDP cheat, doesn't really give any advantage. It seems that high inflation, and deficit control are the most challenging aspects of the game. I tried to find and modify some values on my own (using memory editor) but failed miserably. I'm not really sure what type of value to look for (float, integer), and I'm not really sure if the numbers in the game are shown exactly "as they are", so i tried to search for a range of values, rather than exact value (Supreme Ruler 2020 case), yet without any result.

You guys do understand that we're TRYING, right? That Cal has spent the better part of his Fourth of July holiday weekend working relentlessly on this game for you guys? No other site would even bother with this game, much less purchase it and spend hours trying to figure out how to play it and then spend even more time trying to track down thousands of different values and what they all might affect.

If something doesn't work to your pleasing, then provide Cal with EXACTLY what numbers, screens, etc that he can look at to try and determine a better way to do it.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I really appreciate the hard effort you're putting into this. I cannot imagine how difficult it has to be to try and isolate these values, considering how many there are in the game and how constantly they shift. I've tried to find GDP figures and such through ArtMoney, and it's entirely futile. So thanks for what you're doing, and for continuing to try where others wouldn't even bother.

As to the GDP function in the trainer, the following screen will illustrate what I mean. Every country's GDP gets ratcheted up, and everyone's economic power essentially equalized according to the demographic map:

i think pwiz said it all already. good luck finding anyone who wants to go throught the hassles of buying a 65.00 USD game from this company with all the credit card hassles and hoops to get it, installing it, the tutorials don't work, and searching/scanning through thousands of data to try to isolate these values, all the while having to simulate years of activity, etc. i did the best i can do on this game and more than i normally would for something that is an off the wall title like this one, especially on a holiday weekend. sounds like it wasn't appreciated at all. popularity with the people and popularity with the government isn't always the same thing. but hey, if those values are superficial and don't seem to mean anything, then i guess my hours and hours of efforts were wasted, based on the responses i am getting here. i think we learned a good lesson on this one about user requests for a trainer from strange and unknown simulations companies.... good luck with this 'fun' simulation of 'politics' and 'global' interaction.

best,
Cal

I think we all do appreciate what you have done. As MTCason has said, some of us have tried to find these values and failed and we thank you for your hard work. I'm sorry it took up most of your Holiday. IF we had known before I'm sure we wouldn't of been so pushy. Once again I thank you for your hard work.

Is there anything we can do to reimburse you (via Paypal or somesuch) for the price of the game? I, for one, would gladly chip in.

That's not necessary.

Is the trainer useful in any way as-is? Do we need to pull it from the site? Is it just the GDP option that isn't working properly? Are there any other 'clear-cut' options that could be added that doesn't include researching thousands of small values?

I think the unit codes work fine, which is still a huge help. As far as other things are concerned, I wonder if there's anything that could be done to increase population and growth or decrease unemployment?
