it would be nice if there was a 'latest blog postings' or 'most popular blogs' section on the boards home page.

Yeah, it's on the right side and above tracked blogs.

But i do agree that there should be a section that is titled "Most Popular Bloggers" and then list them by how many subscribers they have. Either a top 5 or 10 for the list would be cool.
