Help with giant Akrid

I'm in the level with the Giant with green spots on both sides and 4 green spots on its head.Ive distroyed all these spots but the monster still has a little life left and I can't find where to hit it to kill it off.Can anyone help me? The health cheat doesn,stop the VR suit from eventually getting destroyed.

after you destroy the four on his head a big one should appear, then blast that one.
