Revan left to go fight the "true sith"....The ones you see in the comic star wars legacy and the comic the golden age of the sith.
Its unknown if he succeeded or failed but he more then likely failed as they eventually venture into the star wars galaxy.
The Exile either brought the sith back to power and then left with his new found power(Bad ending) to seek out Revan or He brought the jedi back from doom and then left on his own leaving hes loved ones etc behind just as Revan had.
Nothing is known once they left the galaxy.
If theres a KOTOR 3 id like to see you get control oh Revan once more and have the exile join you.
