I know about the ~ to being up the command line
But that's all I can do, unless someoene posts an example using explicit and detailed instructions because this additem Itemid crap doesn't work
For example lets say i wanted to add a pewter plate into the game....Hwo do I get that into the game: (Post the script below) All I know is that you press ~ and somehow use this information to get the plate into the game:
Pewter Plate FormID: 0001C626
INACTIVE

the exact form is:
player.additem codenumber amount -enter- (hit the enter key)
example to add 200 Elven arrows you would enter:
player.additem 000229c0 200 then hit the enter key
I discovered by accident that you don't actually have to enter the leading zeros all of the codes are 8 places long and if you start with the first letter or number other than 0 you can just enter that as the code:
example: player.additem 229c0 200 -enter- gets you 200 elven arrows just as well. By the way, there is no instance of a letter "O", all 0 shapes are zeros.
another example is:
player.additem a 100 -enter- = this will get you 100 lockpicks which the full code is: 0000000A
Hope this helps.

This is a very good point and should be observed to those who are new to the game and cheats.
