Stronghold: Crusader Extreme Message Board  

Thanks Carl, I shall remember that when I play the skirmish, however I am in the campaign at the moment and stuck, both with and without using the trainer.

Furthermore, when I press F1, either in the main menu area or the actual game, I get the message "trainer cannot find game".

Pwizard, let me say this…..if you fix this trainer I will renew my membership in Sept, for another 6 months.

i am confused. the trainer is not finding game, but the enemy is defeating you in droves while the trainer is running?

at any rate, if you are getting 'trainer cannot find game' then likely you are running the wrong trainer with the wrong game, the game .exe has been renamed to something else, or rarely something is blocking your trainer from even trying to access the game.

the game is looking for the .exe named:

Stronghold_Crusader_Extreme.exe

i don't think the trainer needs fixing, you just have to use it in the way that it works. if the game name has been changed or the game is modded to work with older stronghold, etc. then use appropriate trainer, etc.

the original stronghold crusader (non extreme version) .exe was named:

Stronghold Crusader.exe

these are two different games and the trainer will not work for either. i hope this helped-

The trainer that works (but the computer gets the resources is:

Compressed filename: SHCETrainer (253kb)

The other trainer that notifies me that it cant find the game is one for unlimited members only, which downloads as:

Compressed filename: sc- (1028kb).

So you're not even talking about our trainer where the enemy gets the resources?! Please be specific in the future so we don't waste time looking for a problem that is in some other group's trainer.

If the trainer doesn't find game then see the comments that Cal made. Either you're using the wrong trainer for the game (there are two separate trainers, one for extreme and one for orig) or something is blocking the trainer from accessing the exe such as antivirus, etc. Make sure you're running the exe with the exact name that cal mentioned.

Correction, I typed in the wrong trainer name, further more I have just tested them both, and for me it is as follows:

Compressed filename: xtremecrusastron-ch (970kb)

Again the trainer works, but the computer gets the resources.

The other trainer that notifies me that it cant find the game is one for unlimited members only, but I now know that this will only work in the original crusader game.

Ok, my specific problem is that I am currently playing the Crusader extreme trail, and I cant get through Mission 7: Coastal Trap.

The Computer must be getting the effects of the trainer. I have read the posts again to see if I have missed anything but to no avail!

The trainer for the original crusader game works great, so what’s going wrong with the extreme one?

hi guys... it is saying that trainer activated but it is not working!!!!
for eg if i press numpad 0, i can hear "activated" but i am running out gold!!!

can anyone help me here pls.....

actually if it works how much amount of gold will u get.. i mean how much amount of gold can u see there????
