    A couple of things after playing around for a bit.

    The giveall command adds about 400 items to your inventory, but the inventory limit is 150 items (as it was in the Xbox 360 version). That means you can't buy or pick up any new items until you get rid of at least 250 items - either by selling them or by turning them into omnigel. Note that having that many items severely impacts the framerate in the shop buy/sell interface.

    The min-max paragon and renegade values are about 1 to 300.

    From the same Bioware forum thread I assume Gsccc got the codes he listed from -

    givetalentpoints #

    However it only gives talent points to Shepard, not the rest of the party.

    [Edited by DarthParametric, 5/31/2008 4:31:24 AM]

    this can be changed by going to C:\Documents and Settings\Glyth\My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config

    and opening bioparty.ini

    and changeing wats there to any number you wana carry
    m_nMaxInventoryItems=9999

    Yes I saw someone post that over on the Bioware forum. However it looks like the shopkeeper interface gets really bogged down when you have too many items (more than 250 or so). Besides, you don't actually need an inventory that large. Just sell off all the lower level gear or convert it into omni-gel.

    If you do the giveallweapons code it prompts for a missing line called 'nmManufacturer' which I'm assuming is a tag of some sort for one of the weapons manufacturing companies. I wonder what the tag is for the Spectre weapons firm.

    The giveall cheat is nice, but the problem is after the fact you may as well just forget about your inventory. Going into shops or just converting to omni gel takes waaaaaay too long.

    Yeah it's the same as the giveallarmour code. You have to specify a manufacturer like "serrice" (for Serrice Council) etc. You could just try "spectre" for the master gear manufacturer. However if it works like the armour code you'll end up with a bunch of weapons with no names or description because it generates items that aren't actually predefined in the game. I'd probably steer clear of it for now.

    Aha! Well that would be why I was getting all unnamed armours lol.

    I'd actually already had a quick peek at the 2DAs inside the UPKs with UPK_Info, but I was more interested in trying to extract the whole 2DA file than in seeing what could be gleaned without doing so.

    For those interested, \Mass Effect\BioGame\CookedPC\Packages\2DAs\BIOG_2DA_Equipment_X.upk is the one you want to open, although BIOG_2DA_TreasureTables_X.upk may warrant inspection as well.

    Is the armor that Shepard and Kaiden have the best Human Armors, DarthParametric?
