why is that i cant able to fire my howitzer when i click a target. i have COH stand alone only

same here but when i let them build @ the normal speed they work sinds then i get some dudes whit it whit the cheat for speed on they aint cominin and then i cant (ab)use my artilery

88s and flak cannons do not work as well

The units are built, but then they are unmanned, and even if manned from other units, they will not fire.

Strange, i have tried that before, but that was with my MG nests. if i build one, no machinegunner, try that.
your base defences don't work.

Turn off the instant build function (7 key on numberpad) right before building the howitzer. This resolves the issue with the howitzer not working. There is a bug with the instant build that will not man the howitzer or allow it to be fired after manning it. This correction is confirmed as I do it all the time when playing. Once you build your howitzers you can turn the instant build back on.

Yeah, this is caused by basic coding error, the trainer or mod you are using must have cross-contaminated. (E.g: The trainers "Flak 88" spawn code is changed when you enable instant build so it combats the original 88 which messes up the script for a crew to spawn when the 88 is done)

If this is a mod causing it, then this is common to run into.
