Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) Message Board  

I've gotten all the offline achievements except about 3. One of them is Liberty City Minute. The one where you have to do the story missions in less than 30 hours.

So I guess taking a taxi everywhere, skipping phone calls, and never going out with friends will speed things up. Just wondering if anyone that has this achievement already has any other tips to get this one?

That doesnt seem to hard. I had one mission left and i stopped playing and i was only at 25 hours

Awesome. The first time I played the game I took it kinda slow and I didn't really know where to go for a lot of things and it took me 32 hours. Now that I've done 100% I know the streets pretty well, I can probably get this done then. I'll just start a new game and rush through the story.

I turned my friend on the game down alot... but took the taxi alot. Well everywhere

I just got the achievement last night.

For anyone trying to get it, it's very easy. I got it in less than 10 hours. Basically take a taxi EVERYWHERE, if none are around jack a car and get in the first taxi that drives by. Skip all the cutscenes and press down on the d-pad to fast forward through phone calls. Don't go on any dates/activities. Forget about taking your time or enjoying missions, just blast through them gunning everything that moves. I started a whole new game to get this one and deleted it once I was done, trust me your friend stats and stuff will be garbage by the end. I never even unlocked taxi rides from Roman, guns from Jabob, or bombs from Packie.
