Frontlines: Fuel of War Message Board  

Hi,

Below is the method on how to activate Cheat Codes in the game via the Console(~).

Go to the Location/path where your Profile and the Saved Checkpoints are stored which is:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Games\Frontlines - Fuel of War

This path is for Win XP as I don't have Vista.

Now Look for the 'Config' folder inside the 'GCGame' folder. Go to the 'Config' folder and look for the following .ini file : 'GCInput'.

Open the 'GCInput' file with notepad and search for the following lines:

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=
TypeKey=
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1

and Change it to:

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=tilde
TypeKey=
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1


Now load the game and press Tilde(~) to bring down the console and type the following 'Common' codes below !


God - Most common cheat code to make the Player Invincible.


Loaded- Get ALL the Weapons and almost Everything including Drones/Rocket Launchers etc.
I think this also works as 'Infinite Ammo' as the clip never goes down?


Allammo- Get ammunition for all the weapons.


SetSpeed- Set the Player's Speed as you like. Try any value like 2 or 4 as you like.


Slomo- Slows down the game. Default value is 1. Try any lower value like 0.7 or 0.5 etc.


Setgravity- Sets the Gravity of the Player.


Ghost- Fly in the Air. You feel Ethereal


Walk- Brings you down to the ground


Playersonly- Freezes everything in the game.! Enemies won't fire nor move. But the player too can't fire his weapon, but can move around easily. Try this if you want. Good for sneaking.

There are many more codes which we can use in the game.

AND IF you want Easy Kills/1-SHOT kills , then Open the 'GCGame' file located in the same 'Config' folder and locate the Heading:

[GCGame.GCSPGameTemplate] and then look for the Line 'm_fHealthEnemyCharacterAI=120' and change the value 120 to any lower value like 1 .

This will Kill the ground enemies with 1 shot.

OR Look for the line 'm_fDamageModifierFromPlayerToAI=1.5' and change the value 1.5 to 999.

Like this we can edit/change many things in the file. Try and experiment. Make a BACKUP first !.

EDIT: Just make sure that the line 'bAllowCheats=true' under the same Heading '[GCGame.GCSPGameTemplate]' is set to True.

If the Value is set to False, then the cheats won't work.

Actually by Default the Value of 'bAllowCheats' Should be 'True'. If not, then you have to change it.

Hi,

For your Kind Information I don't intend to attract any attention on my Topics which I submit. Think twice before Taunting and Judging others. I just wanted to make sure that the line 'bAllowCheats=true' is NOT overlooked by others, that's all. So Instead of editing the post, I wrote it separately which obviously was NOT correct on my part.

Frankly, NO intentions to Brag about my submitted Cheats/Topics. So I want to clear this Misunderstanding.

Just wanted to help others.
IF you don't like my Topic, please Ignore them. Sorry IF you took it that way.

There are many sites like FileFront, StrategyInformer and others, where I could have submitted my MODS and Cheats to gain popularity, BUT I didn't as I don't like it that way.
