i'm using DX10 in Vista, i already put the cheat into the game folder, run it as admin, when i press F1 it says activated, then in game i press the cheats on it states activated but not working

I am having a problem exactly like that. After getting it to run as administrator, the trainer found the game and so far so good. When i began playing the game, i pressed each of the various keys on my laptop number pad. the voiceover then said that it had been activated. When i decided to try it out, i walked up to a guard and attempted to kill him. Neither the rapid health recovery, or for that matter, anything worked to stop me having about 20 guards on my tail trying to kill me. I am wondering whether or not if this has something to do with the fact that this is the Asia Pacific vesrion of the game, or if it has something to do with the laptop numberpad. BTW, nothing is actually blocking the system from working to it's full capacity, as the resident shield on my computer has been deactivated, and that still hasn't helped.
