    That true. I asked all my friends in schhol if there getting gta4 and they say yes and some say no. But i cant wait until after school tomorrow.

    It doesn't tell you anything special. Just the basics which you would know anyways by just starting the mission. IGN has proper guide that shows an in depth walkthrough of each mission and tons of pictures. If your not going to buy the book guide then IGN is your best bet.

    The one thing in favor of a paper guide version is that you can read in anywhere.
    And that is what I usually buy a guide book, for reading it in bed on the toilet and whilst gaming of course.

    The IGN guides for me are handy in another way, for example I download the PDF guide of Burnout Paradise and whilst playing I can look for and mark the locations on the macbook sitting next to me on the couch. Very handy.

    Also, IGN guides tend to have their own style which I like very much so I mostly get both.

    I agree, having a hard copy is so much more useful. I usually read them while watching TV or eating or whatever. Then I can play the game and do the bonus missions without having to look at a book every 2 seconds.
