Once I'm satisfied that this version is stable I'll provide it to CheatHappens to host themselves, but I hate to send them potentially flawed work.

What this means is that a new version of Ewiger Krieg is now uploaded to my signature, 2.501 Ewiger Krieg 4-15-09

While I -think- the formatting situation is remedied, and now the commander menus should work in the ToV campaigns, I'm still wary of calling it "finished" because Relic's mess is infamous about popping back up like an eternal game of whack-a-mole.

How this will immediately effect users is that there are now several happy new .module files you'll have to use along-side Ewiger Krieg to work properly. All are included and it is ready to go, as always just copy/paste the bundle to your main CoH folder. Previous shortcuts for 2.501 are still fine, only the .module files are different.

The long and short of it is that I had previously tried quite hard to keep it to one file .module, like it had always been, but to make everything work how I would like it simply is impractical or impossible to continue down that path.

The four additions to the 2.501 bundle are:

Ewiger_Krieg_DLC1.module
Ewiger_Krieg_DLC2.module
Ewiger_Krieg_DLC3.module
Ewiger_Krieg_Ops.module

Which are actually just renamed clones of the existing .module files with a minor edit of telling them that their parent data file is Ewiger_Krieg rather than RelicCOH, meanwhile I had to spend a while unfixing the Ewiger_Krieg.module file in such a way that it still did what I had accomplished up till now, without conflicting with the four new files... Tedium hits Joy with a critical strike for eleventy billion damage

Anyway, all in all it should be working nicely now, but I give you forewarning it is literally a matter of minutes past completion, so it hasn't been tested to my liking.

aside buying the ToV...Ofcourse.

If you buy Tales of Valor, you're automatically updated to 2.500, so you skip over the 2.400 debacle completely, and if you're connected to the internet, you'll likely update to 2.501 immediately after installation anyway, which is where the latest version(s) of Ewiger Krieg come in...

If you play 2.301 or earlier, that is included in my package now (it's a triple pack to cover all the bases), so it's backwards compatible.

If you play 2.400, there is a version of Ewiger Krieg meant for only that version of the game, nothing before, and nothing after.

If you play 2.500 or 2.501, the latest and greatest version is included for that. If you have ToV, you'll have six new units to play with as well, and to me at least, three of them are really fun, the schwimmwagens and T17's aren't all that exciting to me to be honest, but some folks may well love them for their particular strategy scheme.
