Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Message Board  

I got all the way up to where I'm supposed to tell the team to search a white van for explosives. They walk up to it, star at it, and I can no longer give them any other commands. They're just stuck staring and I can't progress. Tried changing difficulty, reloading the game, reloading from checkpoint, nothing works.

Anyone else have this issue?

patch 1.01 is out... maybe there's a fix for this?
i sometimes have to issue the same command multiple times
before my squad members do it... but they never get stuck.

Hey i ws in ACT 2 Garrage part.....where my commandos got stuck behind the cars in d parkin lot....they do not follow my orders......

N smtimes wn i tell em to throw smoke grenades to a particular place they keep staring at me lyk dumbs......

Wt do i do...??

Try the 1.01 patch or complain with Ubisoft.

i also had to issue the order about 3 times and then they did it and continued the game normally

and i am NOT using the 1.01 Patch

hi did you try clearing the building first,when thats done you go outside and then search the van,hope it works,it did for me

But when Iam looking at the van in my case it blocks.and not freeze.I need to know why.Help me!

I would recommend updating the game to the latest version... As far as I know I bought the game when the v1.01 patch was already out, so I downloaded the patch while installing the game and installed the patch when my game was installed, and I haven't had any problems so far. Other than that the previous Vegas game also had dodgy AI commands, so it could just be that some people do certain things in a certain way that makes the bug surface...
