i got past it the first time and shut my console down bfr the save.now i must have tried 100 + times and can not get past it.its that blue thing that turns invisible ,you are down in some kind of sump in waist high water.i know after you kill it you get invisibility and you need to use it to get out of the automatic door.i know that you use the glave and hit the canisters to freeze the glave and it stuns the thing ,but those nade things he throws at you get me almost everytime.very frustrated that i got this far through the game, and now cant complete it. any tips would be great

its very simple really, when you see him throw that acid or whatever it is use your shield and it should hit him, do that until you get the option to do a finisher

yea i tied that but they seemed to go through the sheild,or maby they were exploding behind me.ill give it a go again maby its all in the timing.ok finaly got past it.i went back and started chapter over collecting ammo,and weapon upgrades.when i got back up to that thing i just blasted the xxxx out of it with the shottie.thanks for the help ,i was getting very frustrated lol

Play that Level with your back to the Wall where the Windows are, just look at the ripples in the water which means it's coming for you, just as it starts to go Bluish Black Shoot it as many times as you can in it's body, when it climbs the Energy Pole go to the other one and wait behind it the Structure will protect you from the energy blast, it will come at you and iff you peek around the structure you'll see it, when you can see it blast it as many times as you can and keep doing it untill it glows RED then do the FINISHER on it, it took me two or three goes at killing it but it worked, frezing it only sticks it in the ice for a few seconds and mainly wastes your time, i am on the Last Boss Battle and cannot get past the two tenticles part due to the Zombies, hope this helps.
