Measures must be taken to stop this, but no matter how hard you strive to keep the world free of piracy, there will be the odd person who will continue to manufacture pirated goods. Piracy will continue to happen, and personally I can't see it stopped any time in the near future.

I don't even play PC games, besides Starcraft and C&C Tiberium Wars, which I bought at a store.
But I've downloaded several games this year. I've owned them all at some point, and sold them when I got my 360. I downloaded them, played them for a couple weeks and deleted them. If I plan on playing a game properly I buy it for XBOX 360, otherwise if I just want to know what it's like or need something to play for a few days I download it and delete it when I'm done.
Oh, and you can't stop piracy. There are billions of websites out there, it's impossible to stop it. Also, there's always a way to crack software and computers. They are only as smart as the person who created them, and theres always someone smarter out there.
