i have the same problem as Ethenyl. I have 2 pc. one is for internet only. its old and slow, but its enough for downloading. the second pc ist for gaming only. it has no internet-connection, cause i havent installed any security-programs to keep it fast for all the new games.

what could i do?

BTW -- We just learned that someone has uploaded 12 of our most recent trainers (including Assassin's Creed) to a torrent site. I think this just goes to solidify the fact that something has to be done.

well that user is now removed and banned.

at least that uploaded AC trainer is now also banned and anyone who downloaded it cannot use it.

The only problem I see if for those that don't have an internet connection at home. I personally have all my PC's hooked up to the net so this doesn't affect me in anyway, and after the trainer goes free to the public I'll download that version so I always have a working one incase of an internet outage. So as I see it I only have to "worry" about that for a month then it is no longer an issue at all.

Yeh, like I said, if this works out then we can decrease the waiting time to 2-3 weeks instead of 4-6 as it is now. Then you could d/l the protection free version sooner. The waiting times have gotten longer because of the leaks.

One of this days CH will be releasing trainers protected with Armadillo or even Starforce. lol.

Well... Daemon-Tools after releasing their fist Professional it get cracked easily. Now they use 2 things: a key file (downloaded from the site - customers only) and online activation using the e-mail address given in the purchase.

Finally... am not worried about the protection system CH chooses to use. I CH require a new fee to be paid to support further and better developing, just let me know.

I dont get why anyone would upload a bunch of trainers after paying the subscription to be a member. Unless they got paid for uploading them? How permaneant is the ban btw, do you just ban the account, or do you take note of their IP address, and ban it from access? People with enough money and free time, might do this for kicks. Its not like the memebership for CH is even that expensive considering what you get. I dont understand why people have a problem paying for something of such value. Damn i gotta learn how to use paragraphs
