Dumb question. I made custom sims but once i started playing them they were moved into 1 specific lot/household. But I want to play them in other places too. Is there a way to save them so they show up in the pool of random families to play ALL the time for all the different neighborhoods/expansion packs even if i start playing them in 1? (without moving them out of their current lot, that is) Thanks! =)

well maybe not those specific sims but u can create sims in the sims body shop and you will be able to save them and make "clones". you know how in create a family there is a bunch of already premade sims? they should show up there if u saved the sim created in body shop.

Hm...I'm not sure I understand. After I saved the family in the body shop, how do I make clones? I see the family i made show up with the premade sim families in various neighborhoods, but once I move them in, they're gone from there. If I can make a ton of clones that'd be awesome thanks!

well you can go to create a family again and make the family again using the premade sims. im not sure of what else to really say tho.

hmm....u know what....im gonna check into this on my game to see what exactly is going on. maybe then i'll have a better answer.

ok well i looked at the body shop and used one of the premade sims. in the body shop in create sims and premade sims, there is a thing at the bottom of that screen that has two figures and a check mark, this is the cloning device thing. im not 100% sure what is does but after i clicked on that i was able to create on that sim. i didn't go any farther because it seemed like i was getting nowhere on it. just play with body shop a little more and see what you can find because im not exactly sure what your looking for. All i know is that you want to have the same family for every neighborhood. im not sure how to do that but all i can tell you is use the premade sims in body shop that you made.
