there is no prize for getting the golden weapon, just for showing off pretty much.

oh and fyi, the golden weapons are based of guns that have really been made golden. no other guns in the lists have been gold in military use. thats why if you notice guns that are gold aren't US military ie. AK-47 Dragunov, so that why you wont find a golden MP5, unless custom made.

but most ppl just cage match 4 them so maybe the guns are fine that way

ya its really annoying actually especially to someone who earned them the heard way like i did. thats why im glad they removed cage match from CoD:WaW and Modern Warfare 2
