I cannot get the invincibility cheat to work as described in the trainer instructions. The trainer in question is the Mega Trainer (flak edition) for 1.3.1416.

I do have other portions of the trainer to work - invincible hull, unlimited Afterburners, unlimited energy.

While attempting to do the side mission where I am saving someone's daughter, I jump into the system and target her ship. I then press the period key on the keypad. I hear the voice saying 'activated' and immediately see her ship's hull value go from 100% to 0%. Her shields are not affected. Her ship doesn't explode at that point but as the fight ensues and her ship's shields reach zero, her ship blows up. I have tried it several times and know that it is her ship that I targeted.

Any ideas on what is happening or how to get that cheat to work?

It could be something within the game's scripting that is preventing the cheat from working the way you want it to. Not all options are going to work in all cases, particularly when a scripted event has to occur within the game.

I am getting the same results. It doesnt matter what I target, i.e. Pirate, Trade Station, etc. The hull indicator goes to zero. On mission, just flying around. doesnt matter. I use it now just to kill the enemy faster.
