Need for Speed: Carbon Message Board  

so ok i beat tha first 3 bosses and all tha races up to tha 4th area. but those races have cars a ton better than mine. so i need level 3 cars. how do i get them? I cant get through a race without them. I use all tha shortcuts and used cheats to have slomo all tha time and nitro 2 but still get 2nd place or worse. I had a 100% in all tha races to this area so i know i drive good. I even did another career with tuners cuz i used exotic on first one. and same thing no problem till 4th area and cant win a race and cant find out how ta get tha level 3 cars. can any one help? there are levle 3 cars right?

There are level 3 cars, yes.

However, they can only be unlocked through Silverton (red races). In the very center of Silverton, there is an area with only two races, one of which is a checkpoint, and because it's against the clock, it shouldn't be that hard. The second race, however, is against opponents. Set Samson as active, and then hire him to take out everyone for you, so you have a clear run to the finish. It's a tight track, so if you have a Tuner/Exotic, you should be able to win.

I didnt think of trying to do tha checkpoint race but i ben trying to get past that other one. in tha red area with only 2 races. i use samson but he gets smoked bad he cant keep up so i cant have him crash tha leaders so i can pass or even win himself which would give me tha win i think.

Try getting Sal or Nikki active, i reckon they're pretty good crew members. But yeah, you should do the checkpoint races, that way it'll be easier for you to unlock a tier 3 car.

so i beat 1 area in red. then i unlock level 3 cars?

The middle area is the easiest. Only two races, and you have to time Samson just right. Use him when he's near others, so he can catch them out.

If that doesn't work, then yeah, use Nikki instead.

u should have unlocked yumi and upgrade her car and it might be a mitsubishi eclipse gt and if it is it should help
