This isn't related to the trainer, which is great in my opinion, but I was hoping someone could answer my question - Which is posted here: community.kaosstudios.com/showthread.php?t=5480

First time I've had a game do this.

i have the same video card as you and just about the same pc rig.i have the same problem and like you i purchased the game for single play. it looks like a great game but having it freeze every 2 mins. is terrible. i have windows vista but i don't think that has anything to do with it . if you solve this problem please post as i can not play the game it is useless to me. what crap. thanks for your input.

I have the same problem with it freezing every few seconds for a couple of sec, and then it starts again keeps doing it over and over .......unplayable
I have win XP on another drive on my system so I just go to the boot menu and go to the XP install and it runs there, My Vista install in new and I haven't activated it yet and don't know if that has anything to do with it yet or not, I will be working on it again later on today or 2maro and will post back as soon as I know anything.
    Peace out

just asking but are you guys running the game with max settings? Cause I noticed when I put mine on very high settings it would freeze every few secs...but once I put it down to high or med...it quit..I think when its on very high..it puts on v-sync...which can really cause problems.

Doesn't matter what graphics setting I have it on, it simply crashes. You can double-check the support thread link I posted, alot of people are having the same problem. Its strange.

Vista game crash / SecuROM fixes coming soon! [ 1 Comment ]
    Wednesday, 27 February, 2008 at 10:55 PST | Pyros | Print News
If you're trying to play Frontlines in Vista, your copy may keep crashing and display a "Frontlines stopped working" message. The good news is that Kaos has identified what causes this problem, and will be publishing a fix shortly. Keep your eyes on Planet Frontlines for future news about this fix.

this is what i have found out so far on the crash problem and looking for the first patch for the game soon there is one in the works and right now it is being tested
no this isn't much help now but hope it helps ya stop pulling hair out for now peace

I like the idea that they're fixing it for Vista, problem is- most of us don't have Vista. We have it for XP. So no, this is absolutely no help, but thanks for at least trying.

I run vista ultimate 64bit with 4 gigs of ram, an 8800 gts 320 video card and a dual core proc...and no problems running...except if I go to very high settings in graphics.
