First you have to edit the SWKOTOR.ini file.

Once you've added "EnableCheats1" under game options you save and the run the game as usual.

Press tilde ~ button (Console is on but invisible) type in for example a code for a jedi padawan Robe.

giveitem a_robe_02

Type exactly as above then press enter will work
