An explosion liek this would cause caos over the globe. Yes USA would probably be down right obliterated or as stated before ice age, but a continental ice age would cause significant effects on our ecosystem and weather. Could be almost liek the day after tomorrow.

Well don't worry, if the movies are an indication of things to come(which they normally are), I'm sure there will be a group of five or six that will go down to the centre of the earth and do some science mumbo jumbo I don't understand and end up failing, then at the last hour one of those brave(probably token black guy) will sacrifice himself to save the world. That is how it is going to happen right..... right?
