Because Link is goodhearted. Also, in order to defeat the boss, you must save Lienback, after all, Lienback becomes part of him!

Slash Linebeck until Ceila comes free, when you get the orb draw an 8 in the box. Make sure Bellum's eye is open, make sure you have Ceila's point of view on the top screen. If you don't keep attacking Linebeck. When Linebeck does his spinning attack draw the stylus to the bottom corner of the touch screen, then up about half an inch when he gets closer. That's all you need to know to beat Bellum the last time. Okay? Okay! Linebeck, not Lineback, lienback, or any of those! It's Linebeck the *******!
