    Is there any way + to Cap Ship Ability Points or Exp Points could be added to the trainers?

    i did this, but you had to keep reactivating it over and over which some members didn't like so i removed these options to prevent arguments.

    just create 8 civilian labs and 8 weapons labs and then level up in the research and you can get up to 16 cap ships or 2000 total ships.

    Some members didn't like a great feature because you had to keep activating it, so the people who DO want it don't get it?

    People suck.

    When the mod tools become avial. then all of us can mod the cap ship limits, or simply tell the game not to count ships at all. (it was easy to do in the beta im hoping they keep it that simple)
    hopefully stardock wont keep us hanging too long.

    No I meant the ability points or XP lvls of the cap ships not the limits. The limit isn't a big issue since it is modable. There are 4 abilities of each ship that take ability points and a few that are level restricted (at lvl5 or 6). I meant thoese (Like Colonize)

    I've been looking at modding the abilities of ships. To modify one ship requires editing a lot of files. You have to modify the capital ship file, the ability files and any buff files specific to that ships abilities. Of course you can focus on one element to modify and reduce the files you need to change.

    Go check out the mod tools they just released.

    All you have to do is edit the race's MaxBuyLevel ability then you can buy up to lvl 10 which seems to be a hard code max.

    That will speed leveling up. I was thinking of making more drastic changes to what each ability does for the ships.
