Universe at War: Earth Assault Message Board  

My biggest problem has to do with the crashing so ill hit on that first. Does anyone know why when I run the batch file to deactivate windows live, nothing happens? And also, why cant i just manually move the file it changes somewhere else (I tried that, but when I do that, the game still crashes in 1 hour). If i cant use the batch files, thats fine, but why would i still be crashing when i move the file manually? i get an hour max of play time with what im doing.

And also, this game is not that demanding. Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2.33GHz
2 GB RAM
NVidia Geforce 8800 GT
OS: Vista
Now, with the requirements for this game and the specs that I have, i really dont think i should be lagging with on medium settings on the campaign missions. Any help with that would be much appreciated.

if your running dx 10 disable it, try turning all graphic options off/down to minimum, and as for the trainer problems i have no idea.

well, to be perfectly honest with you, all i did was turn dx10 off and believe it or not, it fixed the crashes and the performance. Not only did it fix the performance, but i can run everything smooth as silk on high settings with a lot of guys on screen at once. thanks a lot, i greatly appreciate it.

Use Universe at War patch 2 it fixes abnormal game crashes
