When i tried it didn`t do what i thought it would. What is the purpose for GBA mineral Town games besides dating in Mineral Town? Another question is how do you get the private island?

I think Harvest Moon DS was just supposed to be a combination of previous harvest moon games. Connecting to the GBA was just so you could date the girls that live there, if you wanted to. Be carful if you do date someone from the GBA, because it will end your game. Hope that helped!
