just got a skyline r34, tried it in drag racing. Very difficult to win with. it has 900+ bhp, but no matter how many perfect shifts i get, it's not performing. Does anyone have some tuning hints or tips? I can get really good times with my gt500 or my supra.

I am using a Skyline in drags and rarely lose with her. All I did was max her to level 4,set all gears tall, and set the booosts to high.

for DRAG i use the Zonda, there it = the best
the Skyline R34 (NOT R35) is best for SPEED
the proto R35 ya can tune to 1200hp but its no good anywhere
the Porsche Turbo = best for GRIP
then for DRIFT ya got 2 best cars > RX7 & Nissan Silvia S15

I find Skyline to be to fast for speed racing. Zonda is too ugly for anything. All 3 Porsches are great for grips. RX7 bores me. Sylvia is a crappy drifter. I am now using a Solstice for drifts. She's amazing, can drift beautifully.
