I hope someone else has encountered this problem. I have restarted the game now 3 times and always come to this problem. I want to play the game through but I want to eventually upgrade everything to 10/10/10. I found the savegame from Zetoss that allows this. I start the game from scratch and play and collect artifacts. The game itself allows for unlimited cash and the ability to upgrade all systems fully. After I have 29 artifacts I go for the 30th and it freezes. I tried this with my ship being at 10/10/10, 10/10/2 and 3/3/3 and at artifact #30 it freezes. Does anyone know how to fix this OR know of a savegame I can start and complete the game through where I am able to upgrade my ship to 10/10/10 & get all 100 artifacts to get the zero-point drive? I have found this problem as well... This time when I played the game I actually gathered all 100 artifacts BEFORE I used the #2 cheat, this way I could get the Zero Point Drive. The trainer did not give me that before and I wanted it to go to the hidden system to check out the bonus Dev Mission. The trainer pretty much makes you invincible and the enemies will have the same characteristics as your ship. So if you are a level 30 in the first system, then the enemies will fight at a level 30.

Which is the #2 cheat? Do you mean the Mega Trainer only available to cheat happens.com members? I'm eager to redo this game in a way where I can a) upgrade my ship in all areas 10/10/10 and b) collect all 100 artifacts to get the zero-point drive. Which trainer or savegame did you use? Thank you so much for your help. I was almost going to uninstall the game and call it quits.
