I prefer it if Bioware did it cuz they did an awesome job with KOTOR 1 but Obsidian did a lousy job with KOTOR 2. They deleted a lot of content and they even rushed this game making it a little frustrating to play it. one of the downside to this game is that it takes time for you to get your lightsaber.

    Get your facts straight newb...

That wasn't Obsidian's fault it was Lucasarts for rushing it out the door, otherwise we'd of had a complete game rather than a half-finished, rough completion. Even then, the game is still pretty good

So are the rumors true? Is KOTOR III going out soon?

I liked KOTOR I a lot more than KOTOR II, even though (like Jackal said) some of the mistakes made in II were because of Lucas Arts, not Obsidian Entertainment.

Nevertheless, I would like to have Bioware develop KOTOR III.

I highly doubt anything resembling a KOTOR III but I have heard quite a few things about a KOTOR Online...somethin about it coming out maybe 2009. I had a PC Gamer magazine talking about the best games of 2008 (Spore!) and they mentioned a talk with LucasArts about this...

Bioware and lucasarts have officially announced a follow up to the KOTOR titles which will be in the form of an MMORPG. This will be the Knights of the Old Republic Online that was just mentioned. It will take the place of a KOTOR 3, 4, 5 etc.

Here is a link to the announcement on Gamespot:

yeh, its pretty much called: Starwars - The Old Republic

They are hoping to give each class/profession a storyline, so there will be huge replay value.
