Unfortunately 1.4 is no longer available. Please refer to the updated Silent Fire Elite v1.5.2 mod. Only works with Silent Hunter 4: U-Boat Missions. Sorry.

Since there is no posting of my new mod, you can get it here. There are a few new issues which are not listed in the readme which I am working on and should have ready in a few days.

Unfortunately I'm swamped with real work at the moment and won't be able to get the new mod done as predicted. I did discover fixes for some unlisted issues as well as listed ones, but I've not yet applied them to the mod. I also added a few other things in regards to speeding up and slowing down.

Right now I have the sub cruising at 200kts. I'm working on a way to keep it from rolling at those speeds or else I'll just have to ask people to slow down when making turns.

Please be patient as I get it done. I'm good at hex editing, but mods are a new experience for me.

Sadly, the mods that I worked on for version 1.4 and expansion version 1.5 will not see the light of day. I had almost completed an update for 1.4 but I lost the files from a hardware crash. Eventually I'll get around to doing it again thought it won't be anytime soon. Frequent exhaustion and stress from work has finally taken its toll. For certain there won't be a mod for 1.5.

Sorry guys, you'll just have to use what I've done to this point.

    Hi Snaptrap,

thanks again for sending me your mod some months ago,

    I completely agree with hawk33 : !!!

I'm more than saddened to read what happened.
Of course for all of us that had the opportunity to savour and taste your growing HUGE mod,
but most of all (by far) for yourself, for the sudden loss of a tremendous amount of work.

A so precious amount of time you've spent for our only pleasure, without asking anything in return.

None of us could blame you for hesitating in burrying this fantastic project.

The idea of beginning it all from scratch, after having pushed it so far...

Well, I really wanted to thank you again for all your work, wish you luck for your next projects, and send you my best regards.
