When I said most cars are good I was implying rear wheel drive cars. I would never even drag race in a car that wasn't rear wheel drive. Maxing the performance should always be done no matter what type of race you're doing. Though changing the gear ratios is a good way to get longer wheelies you can easily get 1300 feet without ever tuning the car. My Shelby GT500 is all level 4 parts and I've never cared enough to tune it and it has done wheelies longer than the drag strip.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

I have my best success in drags whenever I tune my cars.

I've tried to figure out tuning in Forza 2 but found that I just couldn't focus on it. Continually changing little things and seeing how they affect performance just got really annoying so I stopped trying. I never tune cars anymore, I just fully modify them and race.

Any car that is RWD or sometimes even 4WD in the case of Ryus EVO can pretty much do a wheelie if it's HP is above about 450. All you need to do is stiffen the rear suspension.

the modern gt500 would be able handle it... i've been drag racing & wheeling in it for like 2 months now & it still does the job fine...

The only Tuners that are good in drag are Supra and RX7. Evo sucks! Evo makes for one lousey drag car. And no,not all cars can do wheelies,no matter how maxed.

The EVO wasn't made to drag race. And as far as tuners drag racing, that's just wrong, leave it to the muscle cars.

I agree. Muscles are perfectly suited for drags. It should be a crime to drag Tuners, but as I see it,Supra and RX7 can handle drags and can be very competetive. I am speaking from experience. I own a real Supra,a 98.
