Was hoping the achievements would work, but still a big thanks to you.

i put your file in the folder and typed exec mod.txt

but it would not work. first level start of the game and i put it in like 50 times and it never loaded.

i have the latest update for gears and games for windows.

When you tweak the accuracy do you want a number closer to 0 or a number higher than 0 to make the gun more accurate?

zero would be most accurate

Thank you for your help and the file, you are awesome

Inside the Mod.txt file I've provided also some simple notes, and the directions to the original .ini files.
Remember, editing the ini files themselves will result to the game becoming unplayable as it will detect your "cheat modding" so always do your edits like this.
You should try to just open up the .ini files and comparing them to the Mod, then you'll get a better idea of how it works.

i've tried a hundred different variations of settings, followed the instructions, checked and double-checked, edited my text files, etc.

i still cannot get this to work. if execute the text file from the main menu, there is a brief pause as i assume the commands are loaded, however the game hangs on the loading screen. if i execute the text file while playing, no changes are activated.

could this be the result of a recent patch or something?
m$/LIVE does seem to have positioned themselves against cheating, so i wouldn't be surprised.

if this works for other people, i must be doing something wrong. anyone have any suggestions?

yes, you are wrong, you can also put the cheat.txt file into c:my document/..../binaries/ folder

and no = in all cheat,

like:set...ammo 999, not set...ammo=999
