You cannot make your own store or newspaper! Who did you hear that from? All you can accomplish is this game is your house (3 expansions, basement, and upstairs).

ha ha ha! you cant own your own store or neespaper! ha ha ha! you can, however, use your groid outside your house to sell stuff to your friends who live in the town with you (you cant sell to animals). You say "store item" and pick an item to store. then set the price. It's that easy. Now for a newspaper...you outta luck. Ha ha ha!!!

you can put items in your gyroid thingy and write stuff on it for ppl to see. sooo thats kinda like a store and newspaper. i guess
