HI!WELL FIRST OF ALL,HI IM KNEW HERE AND ILL SEE IF I CAN GET HELP AND HELP HERE!!

OK WELL...I JUST DOWNLOADED GTA SAN ANDREAS THROUGH ARES,AND INSTALLED IT,GREAT,BUT WHEN I GO TO SAVE THE GAME SAYS IT ENCOUNTERS A PROBLEM,NOT LIKE IT GOES OFF,BUT IT TELLS ME TO CHECK MY SAVEGAME DIRECTORY,SO GUESS I HAVENT MADE IT!!COULD SOMEONE TELL ME EXACTLY WHERE TO PLACE IT???PLEASE QUICK!

Well, There is no save game folder at first. When you save for the first time, the game is supposed to make a folder in it's own.

Anyways, the folder is supposed to be in 'My Documents' and it is called 'GTA San Andreas User Files'. There are two folders in that folder, one called 'Gallery' and another called 'User Tracks'.

STILL DOESN'T LET ME!! THE GTA FOLDER SHOULD BE IN C DRIVE??I DOWNLOADED THE GAME...

I also have a pirated copy. Your game folder that holds all the files that make the game work is supposed to be in your 'Programs Files' folder on your C drive, just like all your other programs. The folder that holds saved data like games and pictures is in 'My Documents'. If it still doesn't work, find the place you downloaded the game from and see if there are comments left by people and post the question there because people who have the exact same download will be able to help you. You might be missing some important data files or something that the game needs to be able to save.

btw. I think thats the problem is that it's a pirated version of the game. Not retailed.

YUP,im going to be an original,because its just so many less problems,and as platinum version i can get it for 14 euros!!!
