Well my 1-month free Gold membership is over and I reverted it back to silver.
Now my commands work again...

After playing with Halo2 I would never open the included 1 month Gold membership. It's useless to me, I don't play online often, and I just want to play the single player mode. Why are the game makers these days trying so hard to prevent me from having a little ol'school-singleplayer fun? All this achievements and intergration with online features just ruin the fun!

All in all i think everyone can agree it's a lame marketing move by mircosoft to require xbox live to enjoy the "unlockable content" for a PC game when they make enough money already just from the 360 players... Personally i didn't spend 50 bucks for the game + upgrading my PC+internet connection just to get a few measly downloads that don't make to much difference in the game itself. Also who agrees that Halo2 for PC requireing vista is stupid they only made adjustments to the lighting effects and added 4x anti aliasing to the game nothing XP can't handle already since games like COD4 and Oblivon already have uber bloom effects if your grahpics card can handle it.
