Universe at War: Earth Assault Message Board  

I downloaded the Universe at War non patched version, then began to try and install the two files which will make the cheats actually work and not crash the game. I put these in my folder which contains program files, data and all that but not in the data folder itself but the main folder. When I launch the game and turn on the trainer, everything says "Activated," but I don't really get to play long enough to see how it works before the game crashes back into windows. I'm not certain how you run the bat file either. When I copied these to the folder they came out UAWEA-Ch on.bat and UAWEA-Ch-off.bat. I assume the word "run." means to turn the two files on and off but, how do you run these batch files. Or turn them on and off? Do they show up on the console or in the game? I've never encountered a trainer of this type here on Cheat Happens and I'm more than a little confused. I couldn't find the new patch for the game either. I looked on several pages where it was supposed to be listed but it wasn't there. I trust that PCWiz or someone else on the page can tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to solve this problem.

Running the .bat files are as simple as double-clicking them. They won't really say anything when you run them, it just renames a file.
