Let me start us off:
What was everyone's starting pokemon?
Mine was Chimchar and I think chimchar is the best out of the three.

piplup. I like the good special attack as well as his ability to use aqua jet.
chimchar turns into the best sweeper tho. turtwig = best wall. piplup = most balanced imo

I usually start off with water pokemon. So yeah, piplup was my pick.

Chimchar but I soon ditched it for a houndour my freind had bred for me. It had flamethrower, solarbeam, crunch, and sludgebomb. I'm a freak for houndooms... And yes, houndooms pwn.

First time through, Chimchar, second time I used Piplup. In all honesty, I prefer Empoleon over Infernape.

I started with piplup because it can kill both other starters.
