I need a simple explanation of how to use the save game cheats I did not understand the enclosed instructions, can someone please explain more how to use the save games cheat?

i got it to work .....
example = lets say u r stuck in chapter 23 ... now rename the "chapter0.sav" to something else ( i renamed it to chapter0.sav-real, but its your choice) ... now since u want to skip chapter 23 and start from chapter 24 .... "RENAME your chapter 24.sav to chapter0.sav " ...now when u r in the game go to campaign, click on "load previous chapter" .. select ACT 1: Ashes, and the select the first chapter which is "14 years after E Day" ..... and there it is instead of starting at chapter 1, you will start from chapter 24 .....
