Is your "Friend" by any chance the Internet? lol

If you like the game you really should support the company who makes it, then they can make more quality titles for us all.

Downloading software is unfair to the people who made it, especially when it's a well made game like Witcher.

A word of caution....try to get runes and 3 different ores as soon as you can get your swords upgraded ASAP towards the end of the game you won't have the chance, plus carry them with you all the time. The village of Murky Waters is the last chance to upgrade.

They look the same to me. And they pretty much work the same also. I just whack at everything with the same blade regardless if it's used for a monster or someone's mom. LOL!!!

Like any rpg, there are special weapons (swords) laying around with buffs that make it better than others. I found a silver sword that kicked ass. Couldn't tell you where or when. Been awhile since I played.
