I see no evidence that the SP game has been updated. The auto-patcher downloads nothing and no talk on other forums or any mention on the official website. Perhaps you have the SEA version or are looking at the multiplayer version.

Nope, definitely don't have the SEA version as this trainer was working a week ago. They had an update for the single player thing downloaded over christmas, not sure how to check my SP version numbers though.
Not sure why you would be the only one getting the single player update and they would have no mention of it on their website or forums. Read the first post in this thread to see how to check the version.

Guys do you know when its possible for "normal users" to downlaod a 1.35.44.4020 trainer? I cant find a patch like the 1.43.25.4015 DX9 so I can get a trainer :/ Im stuck with the 1.35 patch, and theres no traienr for it (without paying which is a problem for me).. So, do anyone know when there a free trainer might get released?
Actually - I've been unable to play Hellgate for some time now as an updated game.
I'm using Vista (32 bit)DX9. I completely uninstalled the game a month or so ago, then later reinstalled it as a SP game only. I found a nice patch to help overide the games original updater (taking the game from 1.10 to 1.40). Problem is - the game quits while patching, having errors in loading/installing various files. I also noticed that after the initial try at patching - my "Updater" looks very much like the updater for the 1.35 patch (in other words, I think the updater is automatically installing as the latest, but the game files and launcher are still version 1.10)
I refuse to go online, re-register my game for online play, and then update that way. It does tick me off that Flagship has their online patches loading up fairly smoothly, but their SP game patches don't load or install at all (at least not on my machine).
Btw - prior to uninstalling originally - I had been playing tha Beta portion of the game online to get a feel for the game - and had several online patch updates. Now that I am only installing as a single player game - I can't get the first patch to load properly & completely at all. And of course, Flagship's Tech Support is wholly useless & incompetent & unable to help at all.
Guess that was $50.00 gone down the drain.
