    Hey Gang:

Is there a way to tweak a SP character's +luck stat? It would be immensely helpful if there is a trainer that can modify that stat (or any other stat for that matter), it would help us to understand what the heck the +luck stat really do in this game.

    thanks

i allready looked for the luck-value in the memory, but i only have artmoney, so im unable to chase values through the memory as they shift every time you change area.

i think i found the value multiple times, and so im pretty sure its possible to train that.
im not totally sure, but i think that the luck is involved in what the enemys drop. the higher your luck the better the stuff that is dropped.
at least thats what "luck" usually does in games.

i would really like the possibility to train the luck. maybe it will be includet in the next version of the trainer, since there are some updates out allready.
its so fast it can do an infinite loop in thirty seconds!! =)

Interesting, but from what a lot of people are reporting on the official forums, the +luck doesn't seem to behave like that. Rather it increases the chance for rare/elite mobs, passage ways, hellrifts, to spawn in a level.

I have been running my chars with high luck, and it seems that my friend who has almost no +luck is getting more legendary and unique drops then I am...

It would really be nice to understand how luck is used, and when it is being used.

The better the luck , the better the quality and quantity of it.

The luck factor mostly appears in items. "+??Luck" kinda thing.

In layman terms, more luck, more enchanted, rare, legendary, epic, unique items appear.

    Hope tt helps!!

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought, but a lot of people are saying that it may not affect the loot dropped directly. Many are claiming that the +luck will just get you more rare monsters and special passage ways and hell rifts in a map.

Hence the reason I would love to find out for sure.

This would seem so simple it shouldnt need to be posted.

Unfortunately it just isnt true. +luck might be broken now and it might be true in the future. I have data from HUNDREDS of runs testing luck. Sadly, no luck ( literally zero) always beats +luck ( i did testing with 714 +luck) in getting drops of Legendary and Unique quality. Not even a question of variables because its not close and it is consistant. We tested many ways and many different bosses. As for passages, named/epic bosses etc...thats TOTAL hogwash, there is no difference at all.

I will post my data onto hellgate forums when I am done. I want to eliminate one last possible variable with 100+ runs before i post anything. That variable is .....is +luck a cumulative group stat.

This isnt a desire to start an issue...rather an invitation for actual facts and research. Lets get this issue solved as a community since the devs dont seem to have any desire to provide guidance.

Bertel, before you make any conclusion. I just thought of something after all the time I have been playing and reading the official forums.

I believe that for boss-runs +luck indeed does NOT help. I think the bosses are all allocated with a fix "total loot value." Since the +luck increases the chance that we get a green or above drop, that would means that the with higher luck stat, the player would get more green or blue loots which would use up most of the "total loot value" count, thus reducing the chance that an orange or above loot will drop.

I say this because I have definitely noticed a difference in world drops (chest boxes, mobs, crates) when I changed my +luck to be ~380 to below 100.
