Never thought I would start a thread on good cars in Pro Street and end up talking about something totally different.

Well, to get back to that...

I bought a Pagani Zonda F and it is so twitchy in speed races, I don't recommend buying it for that.

I also bought a Nissan Silvia S15 and a Toyota Corolla GTS AE86 for drift. The Nissan Silvia S15 is awesome, I was losing money drifting in my Infiniti G35 and now I can actually manage to win drift events!!! The Corolla is amazingly weak, even with all level 4 parts it's still a level 1 car except Aerodynamics!!! Level 4 Engine, Differential, and Induction upgrades hardly added 10 points to the power rating!!!

After spending $1.2 Million on that, I spent another couple hundred thousand on a Porsche 911 Turbo. It has amazing handling and aerodynamics but it's not very powerful compared to the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. It's really good for tight technical tracks that don't need high speeds. For any tracks with long straights the EVO X is the best choice since the Porsche just gets overtaken.

well about the pagani zonda f ive only used it for drag and its still twitchy on that so id hate to see what it would be like for speed but i got mine with a free car marker i think its a bit unfair u had to spend a nearly a million on it lol .on to the drift i thought the silvia was supurb and like u i started winning races but it came to the drift king and ryo and i couldnt do it so i thought of the mazda rx7 and i did it on the first go. honestly buy the mazda it is great and have u still not got a free car marker u must be quite unlucky. and im going to get a porsche as a few people have sed its great could u let me know its bhp and top speed if it aint to much trouble thanx

Here are the stats for my Porsche 911 Turbo:

    HP: 614 bhp @ 7900 rpm
    TORQUE: 639 ft-lbs @ 3728 rpm

    POWER: Midway Level 3
    HANDLING: Extremely Low Level 4
    AERO: Midway Level 4

    Weight: 3494 lbs
Weight to Power Ratio: 2.58 lbs/hp
    Redline: 7900 rpm
    0-60 mph: 2.7 seconds
    0-100 mph: 4.6 seconds
    Top Speed: 243 mph
    60-0 mph: 94 feet
    Lateral Grip: 0.94 G

As you can see, peak horsepower is at redline, which is what I think is holding it back.

My EVO X has the following stats:

    HP: 889 bhp @ 8009 rpm
    TORQUE: 602 ft-lbs @ 8013 rpm

    POWER: High Level 3
    HANDLING: High Level 3
    AERO: Midway Level 4

    Weight: 3016 lbs
Weight to Power Ratio: 1.54 lbs/hp
    Redline: 8100 rpm
    0-60 mph: 2.8 seconds
    0-100 mph: 4.5 seconds
    Top Speed: 232 mph
    60-0 mph: 98 feet
    Lateral Grip: 0.95 G

Well, I've never compared them like that but I'm actually surprised because the numbers suggest the two cars should be about equal. The EVO has way more power and is way lighter so that is probably why it feels faster around a track. Anyways, hope that helps.

Told you don't use the Pagani Zonda for speed lol. Tuning your drift car all the way is good, more speed = easier and more points.

    Thanks for the drifting tips.

If I change my Pagani Zonda from speed to grip do I lose all the parts I bought for it? If not, then I'll do that.

I changed my Pagani Zonda to a grip car. It's amazing!!!
Like Jeremy Clarkson once said about a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, "the worst thing about this car is the squishy organic bit behind the wheel (or controller in this case)". The Zonda reaches such insane speeds and unlike other cars, it keep that speed in the corners . . . if you're not to scared to try. This car is so fast that it surpasses my reaction times and when I start to brake for a turn, I'm always late.
