They banned Grand Theft Auto?!?!?!?!? What the hell kind of rule is that?!?!?!?!? GTA IV is supposed to come out in the first quarter of 2008, some time from February to April I think.

Anyways, I just went from over $1.2 Million to under $10,000 after buying a Pagani Zonda and fully modifying it for speed races and a Nissan Silvia S15 and Toyota Corolla AE86 for drifting.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

Yup, they banned other GTA series as well... The digital section of the newspaper even covered the story... Guess I'll resort to other less legit ways to purchase it... It breaks my heart man...

I've never been to Singapore, is it a Democratic state or Communist? Just wondering, not trying to be rude or anything.

The thing is that Manhunt was kind of a dumb pointless game where all you do is slaughter people like the SAW movies. The Grand Theft Auto series actually has a story and you don't even have to be that violent. If all you did was the missions and mandatory stuff, Grand Theft Auto really isn't that violent. Anyways, the people that ban violent games are idiots, I saw on the news about a elementary school that was using video games to teach students. They were interviewing a parent, she kept saying as long as the games aren't violent and the typical anti-gun-game bull****. And the whole time, her two 10 year old kids were playing Halo 2 multiplayer in the background, everyone watching could clearly see it. Just goes to show that the people that support censorship are just horrible parents that can't control what their own kid play.

Well, the thing is that the people that want to ban games for violent and racing influences just aren't very smart. They complain about Need for Speed and the street racing influence it caries. Ever since NFS was first made, it was street racing, maybe not through free roaming cities but it was still street racing and there was even traffic. Why didn't they complain back then?? Anyways, what racing game doesn't make you want to drive fast?? What about games like Crazy Taxi in arcades. If you think about it, Pokemon and Mario are violent too, you're basically killing other living things (Mario) or assaulting them (Pokemon). There is no basis to censorship. The kind of people that take video games seriously are psychotic freaks, they're the ones that need to be worried about, not the games that hundreds of millions of people play without doing anything stupid.

What this really comes down to is that some people are pathetic excuses of parents that can't make sure that their kids don't play games that aren't meant for them. The gaming industry has absolutely no ethical or whatever reason to stop making violent games or try to control who buys them. If some people would just control their own kids and not other peoples the world would be a much better place.
