the weapons, armor, powers, and capabilities were much better. but in my opinion the story couldn't compare with the first KOTOR
@nappy & shibby: i have cats. AND you should get Jade Empire, made by bioware (same people who made kotor 1, whereas Obsidian made kotor2..and didnt do as great of a job on it.)
its very similar to kotor..but the graphics are better, the fighting style is similar but allows much more freedom...and it has a Japanese martial arts theme to it.
did i mention the story is great?

i say it was equal if not less of a game than the original....the story had a lot of holes and the ending sucked. hopefully kotor3 will combine the best aspects of both games to create an amazing ultimate super game that will eat your face.

for future reference, any console game that also comes out on PC is MUCH better on the PC despite popular belief.

everything about a PC can be customized for maximum performance and amazing style.
and game modifications open up an entire world of possibilities for a game that don't exist on the console version
