well, i think the logic is that the higher ranking members are more experienced with posting in ammo, and most of the time they have something interesting to say; not "Lol" or double posting and such.
@ Darkish the only reason it doesnt make since to you is cause your not reading it right, If someone intends on spamming and they can only post 3 times a day they are going to pack alot of spam into one post. Simple

and that, in turn doesnt make sense because long, pointless spam posts will be deleted on sight. There are five active moderators in ammo, so deletion shouldn't be a hard task
