The VGAs lie....they gave bioshock game of the year....And not halo 3. Bioshock was great and all but....well it just wasnt as good as halo 3.

Bioshock won for what it had...not for what it did have. I'm sure that the Bioshock campaign was better than Halo 3...because that's why it won.

darkish, Halo 3's Campaign was the best Ive seen IMO.

Better than Bioshock's by far.

I had no idea what candidates were on the VGAs, so here's mine :

Assassin's Creed
Super Mario Galaxy
Mass Effect
Halo 3 (honestly, this wasn't near GotY for me =\ great game, but not GotY material <_<)
CoD 4 (never played it, but it sounds good)

I think seeing on how VGA stands for Video Game Awards...I would think it would be the popular games of 2007.

Halo 3 did win best Multiplayer AND Most addictive game fueled by Dew...so yeah...at least it won best MP...I'm happy.
