Just get any magikrap at first then see its size,then keep cathing bigger ones than the one you got the time before

do you get a special prize if you show him a giant magikarp
He gives you a net ball(to catch pokemon),which works better on water and bug pokemon

No,You can get as many as you want,If you just keep bringing to him a bigger Magikrap.
