I'm not going to laugh - the RX-7 is the best all-rounder in the game. However, it's not my ideal cup of tea when it comes to drag; I prefer the modern muscles.

But if I were to pick one car for every race mode, I'd choose an RX-7.

I stimbled onto the rx7 early in my career and expected to sell it off to buy another car to drag when i got beat. I never got beat. so i never sold it. I am now experimenting with the zonda on drag.

Justification helps... just randomly dismissing one car or another as best is a tad childish and doesn't really help anyone. So if you can, please justify your choices, lest don't post at all. Thanks.

Well,Charger is funner to drag than GTO,but you can get over 1000 horses from GTO,which makes for a faster, more powerful drag car than Charger.

What is the use of 1000 horsepower if you can't utilise it efficiently? Classic muscle cars have a tendency to waste the power thanks to inadequate traction.

For this, traction and power is everything. One cannot exist without the other, however. For example, a car has 800 BHP, but it only has a traction of level 2. What's the point of having all that power
in the car when it cannot be utilised effectively and efficiently due to the lack of traction? Instead of a potential 1/4 mile time of under 8 seconds, you will most likely get something around 11 seconds. That's how vital traction is.

It's the same vice-versa, too. You can have 300 BHP with traction level 4, but you won't get that sub-8 seconds time you were gunning for. Instead, you will get everything the engine can deliver, which in this instance isn't very great. Most likely, you will get around 11-12 seconds for the 1/4 mile. Now imagine, if 300 BHP can do an 11-sec time, what can 800 BHP do? Sub-8 sec time, sub-7 even?
